Competitive athletics and training has always been at the center of my life. I begin travelling the western states to play Soccer, Football and Basketball competitively when I was 12. When we weren’t traveling I was consistently weight and cross training for these sports. As my collegiate football career at Carroll College ended in 2015 I quickly realized it was the first time I wasn’t a part of a team and a competitive atmosphere pushing me to be better. I doubted Crossfit until 2017 and, like many, was instantly hooked when I started. I received my Crossfit Level 1 in 2019 and coached for a short period at Altitude Athletics in Bozeman, MT before moving home to Green River and beginning to coach at Iron Cowboy. As a coach, I love watching an athlete’s mindset change from the first time they walk in our doors to a year or two down the road.
Inside the gym: I enjoy long aerobic workouts usually involving a rower.
Outside the gym: I enjoy spending time with my wife Julie and our yellow lab, Banks. All my free time is spent in the outdoors: archery and duck hunting, snowmobiling or fly-fishing.
