We are excited to announce we are bringing back the Iron Cowboy Summer Strength and Conditioning program. This is a great program for guys and girls entering the 9th grade next school year or getting ready for the college season coming up. We will only accept a certain amount of athletes to keep the coaching high quality.
Its crucial for athletes ages 14-19 to include strength and conditioning in their life if they wish to be not only competitive, but remain healthy for the seasons ahead.
Why Iron Cowboy?
- Small group, high quality instruction– This is important for athletes at this age to not only train but to be instructed on proper technique. Learning how to move safely is more effective than overloading a young athlete creating bad habits that lead to injuries.
- Cooper is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength & Conditioning Assoc. , he also holds a B.A. in Kinesiology from Colorado Mesa University, while holding 6 additional fitness certifications.
- Training that makes sense– Wyoming athletes are 90% of the time Multi-Sport athletes. There is no reason to throw these kids into “sport specific” programs the athlete that succeeds in Wyoming High School Sports that has opportunity to play at the next level does so my being a well rounded athlete. You should have you student athlete with a S&C coach that trains kids to be well rounded. A complete athlete will be stronger, faster, more agile, and most importantly less susceptible to injuries.
Let your kid make the most of their off season, all I ask is that they come ready to work hard!
